The Wellington is located in the beautiful Wellington Crescent, a famous Regency terrace with a large balcony directly facing Ramsgate's seafront. The spacious property occupies the ground and first floor. This stylish property has been lovingly furnished to a high standard with many ‘shabby chic’ vintage pieces. The property also features a spacious family bedroom (sleeps up to 4) and private off street parking at the rear of the property. The apartment also has a desk which means you have a dedicated space to send those last minute work emails before heading out to the beach. 

The property is reached easily from the main arterial roads emanating from London and bringing you to the seaside. Once in Ramsgate, you head down to the harbour and then back up coming from the West Cliff side of Ramsgate. The property is located on Ramsgate's East Cliff which in its centre has Ramsgate's historic bandstand.

The East Cliff has many beautiful buildings, many of them of a listed nature. Surprisingly, Ramsgate has more listed buildings per capita than Bath. Heading back 200 plus years, our seaside resort was a retreat for the aristocracy, escaping the melee which was 18th Century London. Many wars were plotted and planned from Ramsgate, with the Duke of Wellington himself setting up war room and barracks on the West Cliff of Ramsgate.

The owner of this property allows pets but has some house rules to ensure the property is well looked after.

There are many great walks for dogs nearby and an easy patch of grass opposite the apartment for quick late night and early morning walks.

Further description:

If you want to admire the beauty of the sea lapping the closest sandy beach to London you can sit on the luxurious outdoor sofa on your first floor terrace balcony and look out across the bandstand and garden to the beach. It's a great spot to catch the sun. What's really nice is having breakfast and/or lunch on the terrace, or even just your morning coffee.

The building is a listed building and has been kept in good decorative order inside and out. Inside the property on the first floor level you will find the dining area open plan with the kitchen and the three beautiful Regency doors leading out on to the sun terrace. The floors are original floorboards which have been stripped and painted and sufficiently worn to give that real authentic look.

The dining and kitchen space is beautifully lit by the daylight streaming in through the windows. It really is a joy to sit and watch the boats pass by your window, off on a fishing jaunt or simply patrolling the waters.

There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom and the quadruple bedroom. Both of these can be found on the lower level of the two storey, duplex apartment. The master bedroom is to the rear of the apartment and the quadruple bedroom can be found to the front of the lower level of the apartment.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed and all the requisite furniture you'd expect in a master bedroom; dresser, bedside cabinets and bedside lighting. There is also an ensuite WC. The room also includes an original fireplace which is not used any longer but is a nice feature all the same.

The quadruple bedroom has a double and two standard single beds. This lends itself to a family of three or four coming away with gran and grandad. The bedroom is spacious, light and airy and has all the bedroom furniture you require. There is a TV to the front bedroom to keep little ones occupied when you're preparing dinner. 

The kitchen has a built in fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and it also has a lovely coffee machine. There's also a kitchen island at which to sit and have breakfast if this suits or you can all retire to the dining room table.

The dining room table allows you the vantage point of looking out to sea, as does the kitchen, and turning back towards to the rear of the building you look in to the living room with its large sash window providing light throughout the day

The living room has a large TV for family viewing at night and comfortable seating in the two large sofas. Leading out from the back of the living room are a couple of steps which bring you to the back part of the apartment and a conveniently located first floor WC.

The apartment has acoustically treated ceilings to stop noise emanating in the apartment above transmitting to your apartment. There is a lovely spacious family shower room on the ground floor of the apartment, the bathroom also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer in the cupboard.
