A touch of luxury - Centrally located and comfortably quiet and close to all local amenities.
You may recognise Elizabeth Fry from the back of your £5 note. A devoted campaigner for the improved treatment of 19th century inmates, she was called “the angel of the prisons”.
She lived in Ramsgate for many years. On her death in 1845 the seamen of Ramsgate guards flew their flags at half mast – an act of respect usually reserved for monarchy.
There’s plenty to explore in the local surrounds: the historic destinations of Canterbury and Whitstable are within easy reach, and there myriad beaches to visit and links golf courses to play.
“Elizabeth” acts as a perfect base to explore a new part of the world and enjoy a relaxing getaway

“Elizabeth” is found within a charming, late 18th century building. It is ideal for a family break, sleeping four people, with one double room with a Queen size bed and one twin room. On request, the two single beds can also be put together to make another double.
The living room has a large knole sofa and plenty of comfy chairs to sink into at the end of your day. The room’s curved sash windows offer wonderful views of Ramsgate’s bustling marina.
